As a mother of a pre-teen aged daughter, I struggled to find ways to entertain her (without spending a small fortune) now that she is past the age of toys but still needing to be under the watchful eye of her parents. This resulted in too much screen time which negatively impacted on her mood.

Fun By Design

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

When I spoke to other parents, I found this was a common challenge in households. When I looked for activity books that didn't require you to be online (hello distracting clickbait), I found they were all directed at a younger audience — hence the creation of The Fun Book! I knew I was on the right path when I printed out my first 20 pages which kept my daughter and niece entertained for a large part of the school holidays without the need for screens.

The result was lots of laughter in the home, fun memories made, special bonding moments created, and an overall feeling of content and fulfilment at the end of the day. I hope to bring the same joy to households all over the world!
